We had a new episode this
morning at 9:00am - "Snack Attack." Ash and the gang head to
Grapefruit Island, which isn't what it sounds like... There
are actually 7 islands. Heh. There are some really funny bits
in this episode and a very surprising element, but you'll have
to wait for me to get those episode guides up. Tomorrow we
have "A Ship full of Shivers" and the day after that we have
"Meowth Rules". This sudden outburst in new episodes is going
to make me have episode guides up very
soon! |

Battle For a Badge or
For Love? |

This is not really Pokémon news. It is an
interesting scene in the newest issue of "Pokémon: Surf's Up,
Pikachu" that I want people to notice. If you don't want to be
spoiled, do not continue reading this. Jeremy, the Gym Leader
of Citron Gym, has a sister named Mary who wanted a big sister
like Misty. Therefore, Jeremy was planning to marry her. All
of a sudden, Ash came up and stated, "If you want Misty, you
have to go through me first!" Anyway, Misty started blushing
as a reaction to this. ^^ This may be a hint to people
thinking that Misty and Ash have some kind of a relationship.
Well, Ash then cleared everything up by saying that he wanted
to battle him for a badge. (Awww...) Anyway, Ash won a badge,
and Jeremy changed his appearance to look like a woman to
please Mary. |

Both Iyse and Hiperu want
to do more for this webpage, so hopefully we will have more
stuff soon. Hiperu wants to run the Fanart and Fanfics
section, where as Iyse wants to run the TCG section; and I
must admit, they are sections that I need help on. Also
tommorow expect a few video clips. The Caterpie Forest
has been kind enough to let us archive a few of their clips
since their host Fairgame no longer allows them to have video
clips. |

Pokémon at The Toy
Fair 2000 |

The other day was the event of the Toy Fair 2000,
and Pokémon brought the house down with new toys and games
from Hasbro. Presented with a 20ft soft Pikachu, the new
merchandise has been scheduled to be released very soon. These
include Dexter, the new electronic talking Pokédex, and Action
Combat Figures which concentrate on an attack of a
Pokémon.
The most spectacular toy was the Battle
Stadium figures which contain something called a Think Chip.
These figures will actually be able to battle with each other
and the Think Chip records the number of battle the Pokémon
has won and lost, and therefore, it's strength and attacks.
When released in August, there will be 7 figures, two of them
being Squirtle and Geodude. Using Dexter, aforementioned, you
will be able to view the Pokémon's experience, level and
attacks. I must say, that these look absolutely
awesome!
Also revealed were plush toys of Togepi and Mew that
can move about, talk and respond to how they are treated!!
More stuffed toys will be released, and other merchandise like
Pokéball shaped CD players and walkie-talkies are on the list
too. Even the TCG was given a show at the fair due to it's one
year anniversary. The official announcement of the Team Rocket
edition showed an 82 card set, and Wizards are releasing a new
version of the Base Set. This is probably what Base Set 2 will
be. But we are all waiting to find
out!! |

No Cantonese Release
of Polygon Epi |

Our hopes for a Cantonese
release of ?Electric Soldier Polygon? on VCD are gone. It was
a while ago that I went to a store that sold Japanese and
Cantonese music CDs and VCDs. They released new episodes
ranging from ?The Bridge Bicycle Gang? to ?Who Gets to Keep
Togepi?? I searched through the VCDs, and guess what?they
skipped the episode too!!! I expected them to show all the
lost episodes, but I guess they wanted to be on the safe side.
However, they did release ?Holiday at Acapulco? and ?The
Legend of Dratini.? I made video clips that highlights the
important scenes of these two episodes. The Realvideo clips I
made of ?Holiday at Acapulco? are available on UPNetwork.
However, the video clips of ?The Legend of Dratini? were
deleted along with most of my other video clips, and I don?t
have backups!!! Well, more on that
later. |
